Progressive leaders & business owners can make a difference

Support for mental health, wellness and burnout are workplace issues. 47% of working Canadians agree that their work is the most stressful part of their day and 16% of working Canadians say their workplace is a frequent or ongoing source of feelings of depression, anxiety or other mental illness.

You can work to ensure that your workplace is building a positive, mentally well environment for your team.

Why should we care about burnout?

Unaddressed burnout can result in many factors that impact a workplace including increased absenteeism, decreased productivity, poor workplace morale, breakdown of communication, increased risk of safety incidents and accidents and increased employee turnover.
