Real talk: some signs you’re on the road to burnout and need to work on those boundaries (hint: I can help!)
1. Constantly working overtime (I’m talking about those UNPAID extra hours you are putting in to try to stay on top of things 👀) yes, I went there!!
2. Feeling overwhelmed - something isn’t aligned or you aren’t getting enough time to recharge.
3. You have a hard time saying no, even if your plate is already more than full, or you feel overwhelmed.
4. You feel like your personal life is suffering - you aren't looking after your own wellness or you are missing out on family or personal life too much because of work.
5. You have physical symptoms of stress like headaches, high blood pressure, or trouble sleeping - your body is telling you it needs more time for rest and recovery.
6. You’re constantly “available” - you feel like you need to respond to work messages or emails immediately, even during off-hours. This is something many people struggle with and if it becomes a pattern, can quickly lead to burnout, physical health symptoms.
7. You don’t feel as productive anymore because you can’t focus, are exhausted or are constantly task-switching.
8. You’re starting to feel resentful towards your job, colleagues, or clients.
